Category C is the licence group required for a rigid LGV vehicle over 7.5 tonnes in weight. This course is usually taken by candidates looking for a career in the general road haulage industry.
3 Easy Steps to gaining your licence:
Step 1 – Medical & Provisional Licence Application
Step 2 – Theory Tests & Initial Driver CPC (if required)
Step 3 – Driving Tuition & DSA Practical test
At TAL Training we offer a range of services depending on individual requirements and have developed a starter pack for candidates that would like us to manage and support them through the process.
Starter pack includes:
- A medical with our GP (on-site)
- Assistance with applying for your provisional license
- Theory test revision material (web based)
- Theory test booking – Module 1 (Multiple Choice & Hazard Perception)
- Theory test booking – Module 2 (CPC Module 2 if required)
- 1 hour assessment drive (results used to develop a practical course to meet your individual training needs)
Price including CPC mod 2: £240
Price excluding CPC mod 2: £200
Once candidates have passed the LGV theory tests and completed an assessment drive the practical element of their training can then be planned.
